Who We Are
Independent, and On Your Side of the Table
Crown Air does not own aircraft and does not fly them. That is not a gap in what we do, it is the whole shape of it: because no aircraft belongs to us, every trip goes out to the market instead of to a hangar, and what comes back in front of you is the aircraft that suits the day rather than the one that needed filling. Every flight we arrange is flown by a licensed air carrier under its own certificate, with its own crew and its own authority over the flight. We go to those carriers directly and we do not buy through other brokers, so there is one margin inside your price instead of two, and the relationship behind your trip is ours rather than somebody else's. From the first message to the day itself you deal with us, and we are on your side of the table, not the operator's.

Our Operators
Every Flight Is Flown by a Fully Licensed Air Carrier
Crown Air is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier in operational control of any aircraft. Every flight we arrange is performed by a fully certificated air carrier: in the United States one holding a current FAA Part 135 air carrier certificate and its Department of Transportation registration, and in the Bahamas one licensed by the Bahamas Civil Aviation Authority. That carrier holds the licences, the insurance and the trained crew, and it keeps every decision that belongs to it: the aircraft, the weather call and the authority to fly or not to fly. What we decide is which of those carriers ends up with your trip, and that is the decision this page is really about.
What We Check Before a Carrier Is Put in Front of You
- A current air carrier certificate, checked with the authority that issued it rather than read off a homepage.
- The individual aircraft on that certificate, because a licence that covers a fleet does not automatically cover the aircraft flying you.
- Licensed, current and type-rated crew, with a clean enforcement record.
- Current insurance, with the people on board named on it.
- Any independent safety rating, matched to the company that actually signs the flight contract, which is not always the name on the brochure.
- That they hold the certificate and fly the aircraft themselves, because we do not place trips through other brokers.

Is Crown Air an airline?
No. Crown Air is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier in operational control of any aircraft. Every flight is performed by a properly licensed carrier under its own certificate, with its own crew. That is a legal distinction, not a modest one: the carrier holds the authority to fly or not to fly, and we hold the trip around it.
Who actually operates my flight?
In the United States, a carrier holding a current FAA Part 135 air carrier certificate and its Department of Transportation registration. In the Bahamas, one licensed by the Bahamas Civil Aviation Authority. The name of the carrier is on your written offer before anything is booked.
Why do you not own any aircraft?
Because owning one would decide your trip before you asked. An operator sells what sits in its hangar. We are free to take your route and your date to whoever flies it, which is why the shortlist you get is drawn from what is actually available rather than from what needed filling.
How do you choose which carrier flies me?
