The reef is next door rather than an excursion. Fowl Cays National Park lies between Scotland Cay and Man-O-War Cay, 2,335 acres of coral, seagrass and sandy shallows that the Bahamas National Trust has protected since 2009. It holds staghorn and elkhorn coral, both endangered across the wider Caribbean, and the cays inside it are uninhabited.
